As i enter in 2009… i recalled few of the moments that made 2008 a happening one!!! lots of unforgettable events were there …

i got my new job in feb…

had a mast valentine’s day…

my last exam(don’t wanna this to happen again :D )..

New people came into life…

few of my friends stayed few left for mumbai, Bangalore and US to start a new chapter of their to life…

Jindal’s marriage… first of our group to get married…

College reunion…

Pathak got a girl and he is soaked in love hehehe bloody bugger will now understand.. he was the pain in ass…

Met anu after long tym…

my dance classes and dance show… we rocked the stage….

I fall in love again :D :D

I think that part i enjoyed most was that my friends didn’t fade away
.. we are still together.. our friendship as strong as ever.. distances didn’t took it’s toll on us…

In all it was a good year barring few things like friends fighting… monotonous phase… and few more… but this is also part of life!!!! I hope 2009 will be bring more happiness for all of us… Amen!!!

TERRORIST AND RELIGION…Do THEY HAVE ANY CONNECTION?? December 3, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — aakash sharma @ 8:44 am

yes i know.. i know that of all terrorists caught almost 96 % are Islamic or Muslims as widely known term… But is it justified to say that all muslims are alike… I don feel that… I don think that a terrorist has any religion.. What they are doing is not because of any religion.. but for their self interest.. No religion teaches to kill innocent people…no not even Islam… Recent attack on Mumbai by few brainwashed youth… proves my point.. those killed also includes Muslims… One of my friend who is muslim condemned the attacks and  said that a true muslim will never kill any innocent. Few people just for their interest and money degrade the whole religion.. Extremists are their in every religion… taking an example of what happened few months back in orrisa… where few hindu extremists attacked church and raped innocent and helpless females … sometimes i fell ashamed of what responsible citizens of a secular country is doing. Terrorists speak only one language of destruction and follow only one religion of self interest… no one has asked LeT or SIMI or RSS to carry the torch of religion… people are educated enough to decide about their lives…. i pray one day all this so called and self claimed preachers and saviors of religion will stop preaching destruction… Amen!!!!

Dr. Kalam’s Speech October 22, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — aakash sharma @ 4:44 am

I hope this speech will help us in introspecting ourselves…. We can make a difference even if we change our attitude even 1% …. Instead of bragging if do even a little bit of work, we can surly make a difference…. Enjoy the speech… I hope this will help us.

“Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our Achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success Stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. Why?
We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan, he has transferred the tribal village into a Self-sustaining, self-driving unit. There are millions of such achievements But our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters. I Was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the Day After a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid And a granary.   It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The Gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the
Newspaper, buried among   other news.
In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime. Why are we so NEGATIVE? Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign Things? We want foreign T. Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign Technology.
Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that Self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this Lecture,
When a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal In life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India. For her, You and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India Is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation. Do you Have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.
Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is Yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don’t work, the railways are a joke,
The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?
Take a person on his way to Singapore. Give him a name – YOURS. Give him a Face – YOURS. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International Best. In Singapore you don’t throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in The stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are. You pay $5 (approx. Rs. 60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking Lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or A shopping mall irrespective of your status identity… In Singapore you Don’t say anything, DO YOU? YOU wouldn’t dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai . YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered In Jeddah .. YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange In London at 10 pounds ( Rs.650) a month to, ‘see to it that my STD and ISD Calls are billed to someone else.’YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, ‘Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so’s son. Take your two bucks and get lost.’ YOU wouldn’t chuck an empty coconut shell
Anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand .
Why don’t YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ? Why don’t YOU use Examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston ??? We are still Talking of the same YOU. YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system In other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?
Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay, Mr.Tinaikar, had a point to make. ‘Rich people’s dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place,’ he said. ‘And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels?
In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?’ He’s right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility. We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity. This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public. When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? ‘It’s the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons’ rights to a dowry.’ So who’s going to change the system?
What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England.. When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.
Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one’s conscience too….. I am echoing J. F. Kennedy’s words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians…..
‘ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY’
Lets do what India needs from us.”

Colours Of Life October 1, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — aakash sharma @ 5:11 am

Life has so many colors.. fun, love, sadness and happiness are few of them. We and only we are responsible for filling our life with these colors.. No matter how much we try.. how much we earn.. whatever we do.. we can’t exclude any of the colors from our life.. sometimes life itself add different colors to it. So, instead of behaving in fussy ways.. we should except things as a part of life… Success is pretty normal and no importance will be attached to it if there is no failure.. Yes we can shape our life.. we can try and give our best.. but if things don turn out as expected we should accept it.. and should be ready to give another shot to it.. In short, just wanted to say enjoy every different color of it.. every moment.. every color is an important part of our life…

Guilt Vs Promise September 12, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — aakash sharma @ 3:54 am

Some time back one of my closest friend was towed between keeping a promise and held guilty or break the promise and feel relaxed…. i thought what would be my choice if i was in his place. i am a proud citizen of the country famous for keeping promises.

” जान जाये पर वचन न जाये”

but on the similar hand, i am of the view that anything which make you feel “you doing something wrong” should not be done…. We live in a time where lying is a general practice and has become part of our lyf just like eating food or doing any daily routine. We take pride in lying and loosing our guilt…. but this friend of mine is quite a gentlemen.. never saw him lying.. quite particular about not doing anything that will make him feel disgust and when i saw him n such a position… my thought process evoked and my innerself pinched me to thought what i would have done…. seriously speaking i haven’t got the answer… I know people can justify anything even when they know they are doing something wrong…. hopefully i will not face such situation but if i do… i am clueless what to do…..

More than 1 Billion and 1 GOLD…. August 12, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — aakash sharma @ 9:28 am

DOING THE NATION PROUD Abhinav Bindra won the air rifle gold and opens Indian account in 2008 Olympics and more importantly achieving what has never been achieved by any Indian… An individual Gold Medal at Olympics… Guy showed real talent after being out for more than a year due to injuries Boom-boom Bindra’s fired up a nation’s imagination and given Indian sport a desperately needed shot in the arm … Shooting was India’s best bet in Olympics with shooters like last time silver medalist Rathore and shamsher jung and others but to our dismay none of them except our champion even qualified for final line up, But a country of more than a billion people… a country participating in Olympics since 1920 should win just a single Gold medal???? India’s previous eight gold medals came in men’s field hockey, the last of which came in 1980. comparing it to our beloved neighbour China who won it’s first medal mind you not first gold medal in 1984 is now top ranker in medal tally. Where lies the answer to poor display by India?? Is it the lack of facilities or the politics of our country that prevent even the talented people from success.. First time in olympics history India didn’t qualify in Hockey…Matter of shame for us.. If it is about lack of facilities then how can countries like Nigeria and Kenya are always on medal tally by winning track and field events?? If it’s about politics then how  can a country  like Georgia devastated by war is performing so good… What is the reason and how it can be overcome still remains a question unanswered… once again Kudos to Bindra and best wishes to contenders still in medal hunt….

MONEY…IS IT THAT IMPORTANT???? April 6, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — aakash sharma @ 12:05 pm

First a bit of heartiest congrats to shrey shegal for getting a job that will pay him more than earlier one…..Now the important question….what is wise choice????

1. To chase your dream.

2. To run after money.

3. to play safe and get a comfortable job.

i know 3rd option is widely choosen but what about our dreams??? the thing we alwayz wanted to be our part of life…Is the risk taking respect to our career justified??? the answer might be YES for some daring people…but then what about money part….if you are not getting enough by choosing your dreamz ….then what?? inflation increasing exponentially….how will be able to fulfill our needs.. I am all confused i want to go after my dreamz but a part of my heart says be cautious before doing anything it is a question of your career….I am still confused..i hope one day i will be able to decide before it gets too late…..Amen!!!!

ERIC CARTMAN:THE BOND OF SLANG. March 17, 2008

“Screw you guys, I’m going home”

                                                           Sir Eric Cartman

Cartman is notably and darkly eccentric, to the point of being EVIL, and often reacts in violent and over-dramatic ways to events. He dislikes and openly expresses his hatred of any race or group of which he is not a member, particularly of hippies, which is the cause of his dislike of WENDY, and Jews, which is the cause of his intense rivalry and dislike with KYLE. He often manipulates others to meet his own ends (at which he is very skilled) regardless of the consequences, even if it can result in death and destruction.

Although Cartman doesn’t generally like anyone in particular, he was very fond of Chef, as seen in “The Return of Chef” where Cartman was crying in front of Butters and even admitted that he was going to miss Chef, but didn’t know how to tell him. He normally went to Chef with his problems, and Chef was always willing to help him.

Cartman represents the majority of our society…people in today’s world has become more self-centric and loves to tease others also, making mockery someone’s condition… CARTMAN is still a cartoon character but we are not times has come that we should change our funda’s for the betterment of society.

“YOU WILL GET BACK WHATEVER YOU WILL GIVE TO SOCIETY” …….

Time Of life March 10, 2008

Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road.

Time grabs you by the wrist;
directs you where to go.

So make the best of this test
and don’t ask why.

It’s not a question
but a lesson learned in time.

It’s something unpredictable
but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs
and still frames in your mind.

Hang it on a shelf
In good health and good time.

Tattoos of memories
and dead skin on trial.

For what it’s worth,
it was worth all the while.

It’s something unpredictable
but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

(music break)

It’s something unpredictable
but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It’s something unpredictable
but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life
.

Its great how small things tend to look beautiful when you’re happy… wel yeah I am happy.. :) :)

for what its worth
it was worth all the while…..
